Indie Week Canada is now open for applications from unsigned artists and bands looking to perform.
Taking place in Toronto 7-12 November, the event is Canada’s biggest indie music festival with more than 200 bands expected to descend on the city for the week.
Previous performers have included Finger Eleven, Philip Sayce, Mike Joyce and Glen Matlock.
Indie Week is open to all genres except comedy and cover acts. According to organisers, bands/artists must not be signed directly to a major label.
However, bands signed to an indie label with major distribution are still allowed to apply.
All selected artists receive festival wristbands and passes for all Indie Week Canada events including access to a VIP launch party (with over 300 delegates in attendance), industry mixers and panels.
Visit the Indie Week Canada website to submit an application. The deadline for submissions is 11 July.
