Beer and music festivals have always gone hand-in-hand, literally, but it appears beer’s old adversary wine is making a strong comeback on the festival scene, with another new winery-based Aussie festival just announcing its debut lineup.
Grapevine will feature a bunch of instrumental and electronic acts, with the likes of Sydney band The Preatures, German producer Claptone and meme-kings Bag Raiders set to headline the Rochford Winery in the Yarra Valley.
Joining them on Saturday, 25th November will be Cub Sport, George Maple, Running Touch, Lovebirds, Nora En Pure and more.
There’ll be plenty of good grub available on the day too, with organisers spruiking wood-fired pizzas, gourmet burgers and other slow-cooked and smoked artisan foods.
Obviously, a vast array of wines will be in show as well, including a stack of wines grown and pressed on site, and to keep the beer lovers happy a selection of local craft brews will be available.
