Collaborators and friends Porter Robinson and Madeon have announced an Australian co-headline tour for 2017.
US producer Robinson and French producer Madeon collaborated a few months ago on the new track Shelter, and have been performing dates across the world together ever since. Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne are now going to see the Robinson and Madeon magic for themselves when they visit here in February.
The pair met on a Daft Punk message board almost a decade ago, and while Shelter is their first official collaboration together, they have both risen up the ranks of the music world at the same pace, crossing paths multiple times.
Robinson was last in the country for Splendour In The Grass 2015, touring his Worlds record with an epic live show. Madeon, on the other hand, hasn’t been in the country since 2013. That means Aussie audiences haven’t seen him since he released his debut record Adventure in 2015.
By the sounds of it, their Aussie shows this time around are going to be next level. Fans are being promised live instrumentation, stirring visuals, cutting edge technology and tracks from both their individual catalogues.
