The Red Hot Summer Tour is returning in 2018 with a red hot rock n’ roll-packed lineup and dates all over the bloody countryside.
Rock legendette Suzi Quatro is flying in to headline proceedings and will be backed by a tradie’s ransom in veteran Aussie pub rock acts including The Angels, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets, Moving Pictures and Chocolate Starfish, which promoters are spruiking as “the ultimate rock n’ roll lineup”.
They’ll be hitting ten regional dates across the country in January of 2018 to ring in the beach weather with scorching shows in Mulwala (NSW), Mannum (SA), Rottnest Island (WA), Mornington (VIC), Launceston (TAS), Mount Gambier (SA), Ballarat (VIC), Batemans Bay (NSW) Bella Vista (NSW) and Bribie Island (QLD).
Promoter Duane McDonald says he can’t wait to take the Red Hot Summer Tour brand into new areas: “We have had wonderful support over the past eight years since we launched the Red Hot Summer Tour,” he says.
“We wanted to make sure we could bring top-notch music to regional areas and audiences have embraced that concept. Now we have the opportunity to take the tour further afield and we will be launching shows in new venues in 2018, including taking the Red Hot Summer Tour to Western Australia for the first time ever. We can’t thank music fans enough for their support – we look forward to continuing to bring fantastic festival experiences to regional Australia.”
