Groovin The Moo Announces 2017 Dates & Venues

Origin of article

Legendary Aussie festival Groovin The Moo has announced that it will be back once again in 2017, with organisers revealing the festival will return to its five rural venues (plus Canberra) in April and May.

We’ve also been given the all-important dates, so get your pens and diaries (read: phone calendars) out, because here’s everything you need to know.

Groovin will kick off on a Friday for the first time, with South Australia’s Oakbank venue the lucky bums getting to kick off their weekends early on Friday, 28th April 2017. Following that, Groovin will head to Maitland on Saturday, 29th and Townsville the next day on Sunday, 30th.

The next weekend will see Bendigo and Canberra party down on Saturday, 6th and Sunday, 7th May respectively, before things wrap up in Bunbury on Saturday, 13th May.

“We’re thrilled with the tour schedule for 2017. Starting out in Oakbank on the Friday 28th April means South Australians get to enjoy a Moo Weekender,” says GTM promoter Steve Halpini.

“We can also continue to deliver a diverse line up to all GTM events, avoiding scheduling clashes with other international festivals.”

This year’s Groovin The Moo lineup featured the likes of Alison Wonderland, Ratatat, Illy, Boy & Bear, Danny Brown, Golden Features and The Rubens.
