PRS expands Music Makeover comp to fashion retailers

PRS for Music is offering fashion stores the chance to win £5,000 worth of music equipment plus a launch event featuring performances from its songwriter members.

The society is calling on independent fashion retailers across the UK to submit their entries by 15 July for a chance to win.

Entrants will be shortlisted and judged by a panel of key music professionals alongside influencers from the fashion industry.

The winner will receive £5,000 worth of music equipment, a bespoke music consultation from a leading music and technology expert on the best use of music in their store and a launch event to celebrate and promote their win featuring live music from PRS for Music members.

Two runners-up will receive a £2,500 music makeover.

PRS for Music devised the Music Makeover campaign for fashion retailers to showcase and raise awareness of how good music can impact businesses.

The quality of the sound system itself, the acoustics, music choice and volume all impact both customers’ and staff experience.
