The Chainsmokers played a set at KAABOO Music Festival in San Diego over the weekend, but unfortunately for the pop producers not everything went according to plan.
During the set, the duo’s Alex Pall jumped up on his DJ booth and began dancing enthusiastically, before completely axing himself in a monumental fall from grace (quite literally).
It seemed to be some sort of divine retribution for the spectacularly horrific interview The Chainsmokers gave to Billboard last week, in which they showed why they are definitely more bros than musos and compared themselves to Drake and Justin Bieber.
“Even before success, pussy was number one,” said Pall in the interview. “We’re just frat bro dudes, you know what I mean? Loving ladies and stuff.”
Or perhaps it was finally time for The Chainsmokers to learn one of the first rules of DJing which The Festive Owl summed up quite nicely in their posting of Pall’s stack video — “Table is for mixing, not standing.”
